Bob Wood - Assistant Coach

Bob has been associated with the St. Stephen's St. Agnes (SSSAS) Basketball program since the 2002-2003 season. It is no coincidence this is also when Coach McLinton took over the Saints program and Bob has been on the bench since that first season.

During the day, Bob is a Certified Financial Planner (tm) with an office in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Previously, he coached at Bethesda Chevy Chase High School (B-CC), his alma mater. Bob holds a Bachelor’s degree from James Madison University.

"I coached against Kevin McLinton when I was at B-CC and he was a player at one of the rival schools, Springbrook HS. It was always a real battle when the two teams met and I admired how hard he played the game. We caught up right after he got the Saints job and it has been a rewarding and enjoyable journey. It is a joy to come to practice each day and I am happy to be associated with the outstanding people that make up the SSSAS Community."
